LX GROUP NOMINATED IN ELECTRONICS NEWS FUTURE AWARDS 2010

LX Group has been nominated in four categories in the 2010 Electronics News Future Awards with YellowBird ALERT. LX was honoured to be the 2009 Best Overall Project winner with WMD3000, a device that monitors a user's gym workout and provides feedback wirelessly.

LX Group’s 2010 entry is the innovative YellowBird ALERT (Automatic Linking to Emergency Radio Transmissions). YellowBird was invented by a Canberra doctor, Dr Stephen Robson, and developed by LX Group an electronics design house. YellowBird is an automatic handheld standard AM/FM radio that emits an alert tone and transmits the local emergency radio broadcast during natural disasters such as floods or bushfires.

The Electronics News Future Awards recognises excellence in Australian and New Zealand electronics, and categories include Communications, Home, Industrial, Wellness, Automotive and Environment.
